My work draws extensively upon my spiritual studies, exploring Buddhist concepts such as impermanence and emptiness. I am extremely drawn to bright and intense colors and my paintings reflect this. Through the course of my painting career, I have been intrigued by the concepts of symbolism of words and letters. I've attempted to explore this, contemplating when something exists as a word or a letter -- and when it ceases to function in this capacity.
